From its easy-to-disassemble structure to its recyclable materials, to it’s clever engineering, this chair is built to last. The Drumback combines the benefits of upholstered and mesh back chairs. The mesh/fabric is stretched, a bit like on a drum, across a polypropylene back rest. This gives users the ventilated comfort of a mesh back combined with the stability of a single-piece backrest shell.

Manufactured with 62.5% recycled materials and with 100% green energy, the Drumback Creation is a sustainable choice. Its simple design reduces the number of components, making it lighter than its competitors, weighing only 10.50 kgs, this translates to lower transportation costs and contributes to lowering the carbon footprint. The culmination of all the design and manufacturing considerations has resulted in the carbon footprint being 30% lower than the industry average at 18.832kg CO₂e. Using standard tools, individual components are easy to access and replace. This not only extends the chair's lifespan but also minimises waste. When it finally reaches the end of its useful life, its glue-free upholstery and plastic labeling ensure and minimal use of foam , contributes to it’s a near-perfect recycling rate of 99.99%.
